Maggie Ullrich is the founder of Team Self Made. A community of Moms who empower others that struggle with mental health. She is passionate about watching others succeed in life! Maggie has overcome her own struggles with mental health. She went from working as an elementary school teacher (with a Master's degree) for 10 years to landing her dream job as a stay-at-home Mom. This was a pretty big adjustment for her! She walked away from a successful career and found herself in the trenches of motherhood. Even though she was blessed to be at home with her kids Maggie discovered a piece of her that was completely missing! She absolutely loved being at home with her babies but was getting lost in the process. Maggie became a very tired, depressed, and anxious Mom! She was haunted by irrational thoughts that started to control her mind, body, and LIFE! She found herself up all night! She found herself not eating! She found herself hiding in her room! Maggie was unable to drive, socialize, or leave the house! She thought she was going CRAZY and thought she needed to check herself into the hospital! But what she was experiencing was her first mental breakdown! She hit a wall… an anxious wall! Maggie was placed on medication. 2 medications! And it was in those days, that her life flashed before my eyes! That is when Maggie decided to take her life back! To stop feeling sorry for herself! She had to begin putting the pieces of her body, mind, and emotional spirit back together again so that she could be the woman, the wife, the mom, the daughter, and the friend that she was supposed to be. Maggie wants to spread her knowledge of the importance of mindset work, daily gratitude, and fitness to other Moms. Their success story will be MORE rewarding than her own.
